I haven't read the book and I don't doubt it has many great points. My skepticism mostly isn't born from engineering limitations - but from our lack of knowledge about own our minds. I mean, at this point, psychology knows about the human mind no more than astronomy knows about the universe. We're just scratching the surface. To recreate something, you need to understand it completely.
