Just realized I can't remember the last time I watched a dubbed film. What a relic.

But I agree, subtitles are so much more. I sometimes rewatch movies with subtitles on. It's a different experience. Movies can be a bit overstimulating nowadays, and subtitles keep you focussed on what's actually being said.

Same with music. Lyric videos just hit different. So many times have I re-listened to a song I've heard a million times with lyrics on and realized I hadn't even been paying attention to the story behind it ;)
